TickX basics
What is TickX?
TickX is the marketing and revenue technology platform for the experience economy. It helps attractions, theatres, stadiums, and live experiences sell more tickets, grow revenue, and reduce marketing costs without replacing the ticketing system they already use.
How does TickX work with my existing ticketing system?
TickX layers on top of your ticketing system via a real-time API. You don't migrate or replace anything — TickX reads ticketing data to power audience building, attribution, and pricing, and writes back upgrades and post-purchase actions where the integration supports it.
What products are part of the TickX platform?
TickX ships five products that can be used together or on their own: Flows (embeddable branded checkout), IQ (marketing intelligence and audience builder), Pricing Genius (rules-based dynamic pricing), PostRev (post-purchase upsells and data capture), and Core (the entry-level bundle combining the essentials from Flows and IQ).
TickX Flows
What does TickX Flows do?
Flows is an embeddable, branded ticket purchase flow. It adds a conversion-optimised checkout, reserved seating, timed entry, embeddable calendars, availability and filtering controls, urgency indicators, and post-purchase upsells on top of the ticketing system you already use.
Does TickX Flows replace my ticketing system?
No. Flows sits on top of the ticketing system via a real-time API. Inventory, orders, and seat maps continue to live in the ticketing system of record — Flows handles the front-end buying experience.
Can TickX Flows handle reserved seating and timed entry?
Yes. Flows ships with reserved seating and timed-entry capability for attractions and venues that need them, alongside embeddable calendars for date- and time-based booking.
TickX IQ and attribution
What is TickX IQ?
IQ is the marketing intelligence layer for the experience economy. It combines an Audience Builder, direct integrations with Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google, seat-level insights, performance tracking, custom purchase flows, offline-to-online conversion tracking, and email / SMS segmentation.
What is the TickX Audience Builder?
The Audience Builder uses first-party ticketing data to build high-intent audience segments that can be synced directly to ad platforms. Segment by purchase history, location, ticket type, event genre, and more to create lookalikes and retargeting pools without exposing personal data.
How does attribution work in TickX?
TickX tracks conversions from first click through to completed ticket purchase using a server-side conversion API. That keeps attribution resilient to ad blockers and cookie restrictions so channel performance and ROAS stay accurate.
Pricing Genius and dynamic pricing
How does dynamic pricing work in TickX?
Pricing Genius adjusts ticket prices and availability in real time against rules you set — overall inventory levels, specific ticket availability, days until performance, and more. Prices move within the boundaries you define, so pricing strategy stays in your control.
Can I keep full control of pricing rules?
Yes. Pricing Genius is rules-based by design. Operators define the criteria and bounds; the engine applies them automatically in real time and surfaces revenue tracking and impact analytics so you can iterate.
TickX PostRev
What does TickX PostRev do?
PostRev adds a revenue layer after checkout. It offers flexible upsells and add-ons, prompts ticket upgrades, captures post-purchase customer data, and lets customers self-serve order updates — maximising lifetime value while deflecting support load.
Can customers update their own orders after purchase?
Yes. PostRev includes self-serve customer tools so ticket holders can update their own orders, convert support interactions into upsell opportunities, and trigger seamless order updates — reducing the support burden on your team.
TickX Core
What is TickX Core?
Core is the entry-level bundle combining essential capabilities from TickX Flows and TickX IQ. It gives experience providers branded booking, conversion-focused upsells, audience targeting, and conversion tracking in a single package that sits alongside an existing ticketing system.
Solutions for common problems
How does TickX help reduce cart abandonment?
TickX recovers abandoned baskets with triggered email and SMS flows, exit-intent prompts, and retargeting audiences pushed directly to ad platforms — turning drop-offs into completed purchases instead of lost revenue.
Can TickX run affiliate and influencer campaigns?
Yes. TickX supports affiliate and influencer campaigns with trackable links and partner attribution so you can measure incremental revenue from each partner and reward them accordingly.
How do I sell more upsells and experience bundles?
Combine TickX Flows (for in-flow upsells and bundled offers at checkout) with PostRev (for timely post-purchase upgrade prompts). Experience bundles and add-ons lift AOV — case studies on the resources page show the impact.
Does TickX help with email and SMS marketing?
Yes. TickX IQ segments contacts using ticketing data and integrates with email and SMS platforms so you can send the right message to the right audience based on purchase behaviour, not just list demographics.
Ticketing system integrations
What ticketing systems does TickX support?
TickX integrates with Spektrix, AudienceView, AXS, Acme, Leap, Ticketure, TicketSocket, Peek Pro, Gigantic, Line-Up, Red61, Secutix, Gateway, Telecharge, Universe, Checkfront, Resova, DesignMyNight, and more. The full partner library keeps the current list.
Does TickX integrate with Spektrix?
Yes. The TickX + Spektrix integration gives Spektrix clients a branded embeddable checkout, audience builder, attribution, and post-purchase upsell layer on top of Spektrix without changing the system of record.
Does TickX integrate with AXS?
Yes. AXS venues and events can use TickX for branded checkout, audience segmentation, and server-side attribution alongside their AXS setup.
Does TickX integrate with Ticketure?
Yes. Ticketure attractions use TickX Flows and IQ to add a branded purchase flow, conversion tracking, and audience targeting on top of Ticketure.
Marketing platform integrations
Does TickX integrate with HubSpot?
Yes. The HubSpot integration syncs ticketing data and audience segments into HubSpot so marketing teams can run lifecycle campaigns, track performance, and tie HubSpot activity back to ticket revenue.
Does TickX work with Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads?
Yes. TickX IQ pushes audiences and server-side conversion data directly into Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google Ads so lookalikes and retargeting pools are built from real ticketing behaviour and ROAS stays measurable.
Does TickX integrate with Klaviyo or Mailchimp?
Yes. TickX syncs ticketing audiences into Klaviyo and Mailchimp so post-purchase flows, retention campaigns, and win-backs can be triggered from real buyer behaviour instead of static lists.
Learning and case studies
Where can I see TickX customer results?
The resources library has case studies from immersive experiences, theatres, stadiums, and cabaret venues — including Starvox Entertainment ($800K incremental revenue), Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, The Devil Wears Prada musical, Can Can Culinary Cabaret, and Magic Mike Live.
What is a conversion API and why does it matter?
A conversion API sends purchase events to ad platforms server-side rather than from the browser, so attribution survives ad blockers, cookie restrictions, and browser privacy changes. TickX uses a server-side conversion API to keep ROAS measurable.
How do I build audiences for ticket advertising?
Start with first-party ticketing data, segment by behaviour (purchase history, location, ticket type, event genre), then push to ad platforms to build lookalikes and retargeting pools. TickX IQ automates the pipeline.
