About

10cc are one of English rock's most influential bands. The Stockport art rockers sprung out of the free-spirited 1970s, combining experimentation and pop hooks to gain commercial success. Looking to find out more about the latest 10cc tour? Read on! 10cc formed in Stockport in 1972. The four original members were Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme. Notably, all four of them were multi-instrumentalists. Splitting into two songwriting camps, the band hit the sweet spot between glorious pop and art-school songcraft. After releasing their debut album in 1973, 10cc had five consecutive UK albums between 1974 and 1978. Those albums were Sheet Music, The Original Soundtrack, How Dare You!, Deceptive Bends, and Bloody Tourists. During that time 10cc also spawned three #1 singles in the UK - 'Rubber Bullets', 'I'm Not In Love' and 'Dreadlock Holiday' - and went on tour across the world. Godley and Creme left the group in 1976, later directing videos for the likes of Status Quo, Duran Duran and Sting. Meanwhile, Stewart and Gouldman continued with session musicians. The pair released three more albums, 1980's Look Hear?, 1981's Ten Out of 10 and 1983's Windows in the Jungle. 10cc went on tour that October before going on hiatus for nine years as Stewart and Gouldman pursued different projects. The four original members of 10cc briefly reunited in 1992 to record their tenth studio album …Meanwhile. 10cc went back on tour in 1993. The band released their final album Mirror Mirror in 1995 before Stewart finally left the group. However, 10cc were not done. In 1999 Gouldman reconvened 10cc with old friends and new recruits. This new incarnation of 10cc has been on tour regularly since 2002. Despite changes to their line-up, the band are still a touring force to be reckoned with today. Don't miss your chance to catch Gouldman and the rest of his band in action. You can check out upcoming tour dates and find the best 10cc tour tickets right here at TickX.
