Uncle Vanya first hit the stage in 1899 and is now one of Chekhov's most famous plays, thanks to its dark humour and tumultuous story of hidden passion. Over the years, actors as famous as Laurence Olivier, Ian McKellen and Cate Blanchett have appeared in stage productions of the play. Now Uncle Vanya tickets are available at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

This new adaptation of Uncle Vanya features critically acclaimed director Ian Rickson at the helm. It's his first time directing Chekhov since directing The Seagull at the Royal Court Theatre in 2007. BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Toby Jones features as Uncle Vanya. He stars alongside Richard Armitage, who previously featured in The Old Vic's production of The Crucible.

The supporting cast is Rosalind Eleazar, Aimee Lou Wood, Anna Calder-Marshall, Dearbhla Molloy, Peter Wight and Ciaran Hinds. Rae Smith designs the production, while lighting is provided by Bruno Poet. Music is by Stephen Warbeck, sound is by Ian Dickinson, while casting is by Amy Ball CDG.
