American rock band The Killers are one of the biggest artists of the 21st century, known for anthems ‘Mr Brightside’, ‘Human’ and ‘Somebody Told Me’. They hail from Las Vegas, Nevada, and are arguably the most successful band to emerge from the state. Grammy Award nominees and the only international artist to score five UK No. 1 albums consecutively, The Killers have sold over 28 million albums and played in over 50 countries worldwide. It’s no surprise that tickets to see The Killers play live are constantly high in demand.
The band is led by Brandon Flowers, who formed The Killers in 2001 with lead guitarist Dave Keuning. The name of the band reportedly came from a logo found on a New Order music video where ‘The Killers’ can be seen on a drum of a band featured in ‘Crystal’. Their current lineup also features bass and rhythm guitarist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr, who joined Flowers and Keuning a year later in 2002.
The Killers’ debut album Hot Fuss saw the band break through in 2004. It featured many of their most popular tracks and led to a headline tour in the UK in 2004. They also performed - and continue to perform - at some of the biggest festivals around. By 2005, The Killers were named the World’s Best Selling New Group, thanks to their huge presence in the charts, and number of copies and tickets sold to hear them. The members of The Killers have all embarked on solo projects, but remain a unit in 2020 with the announcement of their new tour celebrating Imploding The Mirage, their sixth album. The Killers surprised fans with the dates of several stadiums for the summer of 2020, who eagerly await their chance to grab tickets and see Flowers and co rock up Manchester, Norwich, London, Dublin and more, joined by Blossoms, Sam Fender and the Manic Street Preachers.
Selling out as fast as they’re released, The Killers tickets are some of the hottest around, so make sure to follow The Killers on TickX for updates and alerts.
