See Pretty Woman at the Piccadilly Theatre
The 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is one of the most treasured romances of all time. You can now relive the magic of Pretty Woman with tickets to the phenomenal musical hitting London in February 2020.
The spectacular theatre show features music from the one and only Bryan Adams and long-term collaborator Jim Vallance. The Grammy Award-winning singer is famous for tracks such as ‘Everything I Do’ and ‘Summer of 69’. Despite the film’s unforgettable soundtrack featuring Roy Orbison’s ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’, the musical features a brand new score. Expect lots of upbeat songs alongside emotive belters.
It may have a new music but the stage show still bares the creative talent of the 90’s flick. The movie’s original director and screenwriter, the late Garry Marshall and JF Lawton, paired to write the book. They’re also accompanied by Tony Award-winning choreographer, Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots).
Tickets to Pretty Woman the Musical will have you following the footsteps of Vivien Ward, a sex worker hired by a wealthy businessman, Edward Lewis. Charmed by Vivien, Edward invites her to spend the week as his escort, attending business events and dinners. But it doesn’t take long for sparks to fly and their relationship to blossom. Described as a modern Cinderella story, Pretty Woman is everyone’s favourite fairytale.
The theatrical adaptation energetically brings the tale to life. It features a supreme cast and creative team, and of course a killer soundtrack. Experience all the memorable characters and classic moments played out on stage before your eyes. Prepare to laugh your heart out, cry your eyes out and sing your socks off!
After opening on Broadway in 2018, the show is set to tour the US and head to Hamburg. But more importantly, it will land in London in February 2020. Don’t miss out on tickets to see the dazzling love story of Pretty Woman the Musical coming soon!
