In 1994 Kara’s Flowers released their first album ‘We Like Digging?’ whilst they were still in high school, then signed to Reprise Records and released a second album ‘The Fourth World’. After a lacklustre reception, the band left their label and went onto college.
They couldn’t keep away from their instruments however, as in 2001 the members came back together, with a new brand, new name and a new guitarist, reforming as Maroon 5. They released their debut album ‘Songs About Jane’ in 2002 with the lead single “Harder to Breathe” sweeping airwaves. Since then the group has received all out success with songs like “One More Night”, “Moves like Jagger” and their viral hit, “Sugar”.
