Since touring with B.B. King at the young age of 12, Joe Bonamassa has had an exceptional career as one of the best guitarists in the world. Bonamassa has released 12 solo studio albums in the last 17 years, 11 of which have hit no.1 on the Billboard Blues charts. He also has had the opportunity to play alongside some of the greats, including Eric Clapton, Stephen Sills, Buddy Guy and more.
As well as his musical pursuits Bonamassa is also invested in charity, having opened his own non-profit charity called ‘Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation’ which strives to further music education for schools in need by funding scholarships and providing resources.
In 2016, Bonamassa released his twelfth studio album ‘Blues of Desperation’, an eleven-track mix of beautiful blues rock. The album sold 25,000 copies in the first week, reaching no. 1 on Billboard’s Blues Albums and no.2 on their Top Rock Albums chart.
