Jessie J began her career writing lyrics for artists such as Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, including her hit song ‘Party in the USA’, before she released her debut album ‘Who You Are’ in 2011. It debuted at no.2 on the UK charts, quickly selling 105’000 copies within the first week. The debut singles ‘Do It Like a Dude” and “Price Tag” both reached Platinum certification in the UK, and launched the star into global success.
In 2012 the singer joined the panel on the show The Voice along with Tom Jones, will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue as a judge and coach for a short stint, as well as joining the panel for the Australian version of The Voice from 2015-2016. In between her times with The Voice, Jessie J released her third studio album ‘Sweet Talker’, with her single ‘Bang Bang’ featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj quickly becoming a global success and the artists most renowned single.
