All proceeds will be going to Oliver's Journey to beat Neuroblastoma - a schoolfriend of Jamie Roberts has a 4 year old son who was recently diagnosed with this serious form of cancer, for which he'll likely need specialist treatment in America. His family and friends are trying to raise £230,000 to fund the treatment. We were forced to join a club that we never wanted to join. A club that you think won't happen to you. A club that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. The Childhood Cancer Club. We were told that our little Superhero Oliver has Neuroblastoma. A word that I had only read and heard about in terms of other people's lives. Not us. Not our child. But cancer doesn't care how young and innocent he is. It doesn't care that he wouldn't hurt a fly. It chose him and now he can show that he really is as strong as Hulk and he can fight this. He has already done us so proud and he is now half way through his first block of treatment known as 'rapid cojec'. He will, of course, endure many other blocks of treatment over a 12 month period but this first block is key in getting rid of the disease. The cancer is high risk stage four and this means that it has a higher chance of relapse than other cancers. Due to this, we are raising £230,000 to allow Oliver to take part in a clinical trial in America which is designed to reduce the chance of relapse and potentially save his life. The treatment is called Bivalent and is a series of vaccines that are not currently available in this country and not yet on the NHS. Obviously this is a colossal amount of money and an amount that we simply do not have ourselves. This is where you come into it; Oliver's Army. He needs your help in raising this money through fundraising events and campaigns across the country. If you would like to help with the fundraising please contact any member of the admin team via private message and you will be directed to the appropriate member of the team to assist you. Thank you for being part of Oliver's journey xxx' Whether you say 'Tom-ay-to' or 'Tom-ah-to' - this high energy duo will have you stomping your feet, clapping your hands, and playing your air washboard with reckless abandon!
