Tonight, Darius Syrossian will be coming to Joshua Brooks in Manchester for a another night of the Moxy Muzik Monthly residency. As headliner, Syrossian will be performing a four hour set alongside the local talent DJ winner, Hock. The venue, Joshua Brooks have won the MEN’s ‘Best Small Venue’ two times over and been nominated for ‘Best Small Club’ three times by DJ Mag, so you are sure to have a great time there!

Lost in Music with Mark Farina, April 18th

Mark Farina is coming to Joshua Brooks this April

Mark Farina will be landing in Manchester on April 18th for the first edition of Lost in Music this 2019! He’ll be taking us through a three-hour Mushroom Jazz , making it not only his first Manchester show since 2005, but his first UK show since 2016.

It’ll be an unforgettable night from the trailblazing DJ – an early House music pioneer from the late 80’s – with his own signature blend of genres that makes for an absolutely sublime experience at an even more sublime venue.

Take That, April 22 – April 27th

Take That are heading to Manchester Arena

For nearly whole week this April, legendary boy band Take That will be taking over Manchester Arena with a show every night. It’s coming as part of their Greatest Hits tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Harold Donald will be arrive on April 22nd, playing some of their biggest numbers from Back For Good, Never Forget, and You.

Bill Bailey: Larks in Transit, 10th May

The wisecracking comedian Bill Bailey will be swinging by Manchester this Spring with his Larks in Transit tour. The show is a “compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian”, filled with politics, philosophy, death metal, ring tones… oh and Paul McCartney.

Taekwondo World Championships, 15th May – 19th May

In May, the Taekwondo World Championships will descend on the Arena for some incredibly skilled arm-to-arm combat. Matches will take place across seven taekwondo octagons throughout the five days, each day having semi-final and final matches. You’ll even get to see GB Olympic medallists Jade Jones, Bianca Walkden and Lutalo Muhammad there, working hard on securing more medals ahead of Tokyo 2020.

From Korean sport to Korean music, this May we’ll also be visited by the iconic rising pop sensations BLACKPINK. This girl group have risen above and beyond expectations, following in the footsteps of the labelmates 2NE1 to become the most successful girl group in Kpop right now.
